Kung-Fu 'Skill and Effort'

Hong Long Tao 'Way of the Red Dragon'

Prior to Japan conquering Okinawa and making it part of their empire, the Okinawan people had trade relations with China. It was during this period that they learnt Southern Chinese Kung-Fu. It is this that was later to be known as Te, then later (1920’s) Karate (China hand) and later to be known as (Empty hand).

Hong Long Tao is a sister art to Te-jutsu with many techniques being very similar.

Hong Long Tao is classed as an external style of Kung-Fu, which makes it ideal for practical self-defense as well as aiding in building inner strength, balance and co-ordination.

Training combines empty hand techniques, forms and weapon training.
